Rehabilitation Medical Residents from Chiang Mai University and Indonesia Visit the Prostheses Foundation for a Training Program
On 3 July 2026, Clinical Professor Niwes Nantachit, M.D., Secretary-General of the Prostheses Foundation of H.R.H. The Princess Mother, together with the Foundation’s administration team, presented certificates of completion to four rehabilitation medicine residents from the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, and the Faculty of Medicine, Padjadjaran University, Bandung, Indonesia. . The residents participated in a training programme at the Foundation from 29 June to 3 July 2026 to gain knowledge and practical experience in prosthetics and rehabilitation medicine through observation of the Foundation’s clinical services and operational system. The programme was held at the Prostheses Foundation headquarters in Don Kaew Subdistrict, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai. . During the training program, the participants received lectures and hands-on instruction from Dr. Piroon Kumoon, Dr. Virat Panpanich, Dr. Charnchai Pojchamarnwiputh, Capt. M.L.Buddhibongsa Devakula, M.D., Mr. Kosol Intaraprasit, together with the Foundation’s academic and technicians. They also visited the Foundation’s 30th Anniversary Exhibition and presented their training findings at the conclusion of the program.
