The Prostheses Foundation Receives a Donation from the Canadian International School of Thailand through a Charity Run
On January 13, 2026, the Canadian International School of Thailand presented a donation of 150,000 baht to the Prostheses Foundation of H.R.H. the Princess Mother. The donation was received by Mr. Kraidej Takerngkiat, Deputy Secretary-General of the Foundation, to support the Foundation’s mission of providing prosthetic legs to the amputees free of charge. This donation was raised through a charity run organized by the school in October to commemorate Terry Fox, a Canadian whose inspirational attempt to run across Canada in the 1980s—while wearing a prosthetic leg—captured the hearts of people around the world and raised funds for cancer-related organizations. The event received strong support and participation from students, teachers, parents, and the school community, successfully raising a total of 150,000 baht. The school was committed to donating the entire amount to the Prostheses Foundation to help amputees regain mobility, improve their quality of life, and live with dignity. The Prostheses Foundation would like to express its sincere gratitude to the Canadian International School of Thailand, its management team, teaching staff, students, and all those involved for their generous support and for upholding the spirit of giving—helping to create opportunities and hope for amputees.
