Rotary E-Club Dolphin Pattaya International Hosts Charity Gala Dinner to Raise Funds for the Prostheses Foundation
On March 22, 2025, Mr. Vichit Chinwongvorakul, a board member of the Prostheses Foundation of H.R.H. the Princess Mother, along with Associate Professor Rome Chiranukrom, Deputy Secretary-General of the foundation, received a donation of 2,000,000 baht from Dr. Margret Deter in support of the foundation’s operations. The donation was presented at the charity gala dinner organized to raise funds for the Prostheses Foundation, held at Siam Bayshore Hotel in Pattaya. The event was led by Ms. Chanunda Kongpol, Assistant Governor of Rotary District 3340, Rotary International, along with members of the Rotary E-Club of Dolphin Pattaya International. . The event saw a large turnout of Rotary Club members and business professionals from Pattaya, who attended and contributed donations. During the event, the Deputy Secretary-General of the foundation gave a presentation on the foundation’s activities and expressed gratitude for the significant support received from Dr. Otmar Deter, the late founding president of the Rotary E-Club of Dolphin Pattaya International. Dr. Otmar Deter was a great benefactor of the Prostheses Foundation, having donated funds and essential medical equipment for over a decade to support the foundation’s mission. . Additionally, the event featured live music performances and a charity fashion show. Beyond raising funds for the Prostheses Foundation, the gala dinner also served as a tribute to Dr. Otmar Deter, a cherished figure among Rotary Club members and the Prostheses Foundation.
