World First Elephant Artificial Leg |
| July 5, Prostheses Foundation of H.R.H. the Princes Mother led by Ass.Prof. Therdchai Jivacate, M.D. successfully fitted an artificial leg for the baby elephant, Mosha. She lost her right fore leg when she was 7 months old because stepping on a land mine in Myanmar. It takes 2 years for the wound to heal. She can walk, run and play with her artificial leg in Elephant hospital in Lampang. |
